Attachment Issues

"The propensity to make strong emotional bonds to particular individuals is a basic component of human nature." John Bowlby

Attachment disorders describe a condition that negatively affects an individual’s ability to form and maintain relationships with others. This could be due to a lack of emotional responses or overly emotional attachments. These issues generally stem from a person’s interactions with their primary caretaker in childhood.

However, like most psychological disorders, this can also be treated or regulated so that it does not interfere with a person’s day-to-day life. Our psychologists will help you find the root of the issue and help resolve it. They will help you identify patterns of behaviour in your relationships and develop new ways of forming attachments with people. They will use psychotherapy, attachment therapy etc for the same.
